How to read it

From the whole market
to a handful of names.

  1. Tier 01

    Sector

    Where is the strength concentrated?

We group industries into their sectors and look at how many industries within each sector are showing strength. This helps us see which parts of the market are driving the broader trend.

  2. Tier 02

    Industry

Which industries are leading inside it?

Inside a sector the industries are ranked again, across three horizons — short, medium and long term. Where the three agree, the trend is intact. Where they disagree, leadership is turning, and that is usually the more useful reading of the two.

  3. Tier 03

    Leadership

    Which names carry that industry?

The final tier highlights the strongest momentum stocks in each industry, showing where market strength is concentrated this week.

The first question of the process, answered.

    The names in view
  • What this shows

Ordering. Which sectors, industries and names are leading, across three horizons, against broad market breadth. Rebuilt weekly, after the close on Friday.

  • What it does not show

The measurement behind the ordering — inputs, weightings, windows and thresholds — is the firm's own work and is not published here or anywhere. That is a deliberate line, not an accident of presentation.

  • What it is not

Not a recommendation, a target or a forecast. It describes where strength currently sits, which is the first question our process asks — not the last.

The next question

Strength is where we look. Not what we buy.
